Lake Taabo (Voile)

Some of the most beautiful examples of indigo are found in West Africa, where the secret of indigo making is closely guarded and passed down like gold. Each piece in the Indigo Collection is named for a different waterway of Ivory Coast. Lake Taabo is a mix of linen and cotton in a panama weave with a West African-inspired pattern of vertical ribbons in indigo, cerulean and cobalt, with little blocks impeding their course. It stands out for the stunning depth of its blues, which are remarkably close to their pure pigments.
