Kongaline is based on the classic raffia Kuba fabrics from Congo. It is woven in chenille and is particularly soft to the touch. Its zig zag pattern is reminiscent of some Ettore Sottsass designs for Memphis adding a stylish 20th century twist to this classic textile found in many modernist interiors. Kongaline is particularly suited to upholstery.
