Part of the Pojaji collection. Pojaji are Korean patchworks of colourful silk scraps, traditionally used both ceremonially, in weddings and Buddhist rites, and domestically, as gift wrappings and food coverings. For hundreds of years the creation of Pojaji was one of the few ways women could express themselves within a conservative culture. When we began to transform them, however, they conjured the spirit of Gio Ponti, a joyful modernist feeling.
